Job summary

Meyer Lab seeks a Staff Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, reconcile ledgers, manage fixed assets, and assist the controller with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (profit and loss, cash flow, balance sheet).

You will support invoicing, budget maintenance, cash reconciliation, and data analysis for financial reports, in a collaborative finance team to ensure policy compliance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum of one year of accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of accounting processes (budgeting, closure, reporting).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter accounting information into financial, ledger, and business logs.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet).
• Maintain tax accounts and assist with information for tax returns.
