Job summary

A Staff Accountant position is available in Souderton, PA, offering full-cycle accounting responsibilities across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and general ledger tasks. You will help transition to a new payroll platform, modernize workflows, and integrate operational systems like ServiceTitan with Sage 50.

The role provides broad ownership within a small, hands-on team, close collaboration with operations and leadership, and opportunities to document and preserve

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll experience, especially during platform transition.
• Experience managing accounts payable in small office settings.
• Experience handling accounts receivable with billing coordination.
• Ability to prepare and post general ledger journal entries.
• Experience supporting month-end close and reporting.
• Familiarity with multiple accounting functions and external firm collaboration.
• Comfortable with partial manual processes while modernization occurs.
• Sage 50 experience preferred but not required.
• Strong organization and attention to detail in a small-office setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounts payable activities and record invoices.
• Handle day-to-day accounts receivable and timely collections.
• Support payroll data and assist with payroll platform transition.
• Prepare and enter journal entries into Sage 50.
• Participate in month-end close and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with external accounting firm for monthly reporting.
• Coordinate data flow between ServiceTitan and Sage 50 for integrity.
• Help identify and improve manual workflows.
• Contribute to implementation of a new payroll solution.
• Assist leadership to improve process efficiency and automation.
• Document processes from retiring incumbent to preserve knowledge.
