Concordia Visiting Nurses in Cabot is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to support payroll, GL journal entries, and detailed account analysis. The role emphasizes accurate financial reporting, adherence to internal controls, and collaborative work with HR on pay-related changes.

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS in Accounting or related field, strong analytical skills, and experience with computerized accounting systems.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related major or Associate's with experience.
• Knowledge of computerized information systems used in financial/accounting applications.
• Ability to prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
• Knowledge of software to quantify and illustrate complex financial reports, comparisons, etc.
• Knowledge of accounts payable tasks.
• Maintain the general ledger including posting of journal entries, updating chart of accounts.
• Ability to analyze detailed account data for consistency in accounting.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with HR to manage information for new hires, pay rate changes, and PTO eligibility.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records and reporting.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports to show the agency's financial status.
• Analyze and reconcile development and financial systems for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain the agency’s system of accounts and detailed books/records.
• Determine depreciation rates for capitalized items and advise management.
• Identify financial trends and propose actionable plans.
• Prepare detailed analyses of accounts as requested by management.
• Reconcile monthly contracted labor costs for reporting.
