Job summary

The Staff Accountant, Partnership Accounting will support accounting for a portfolio of operator partnerships, focusing on monthly intercompany consolidation, journal entries, reconciliations, and billbacks under US GAAP, SOX, and company policy.

The role requires 1–3 years of accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting,

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of public or corporate accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; GAAP knowledge preferred.
• CPA preferred or pursuing.
• Experience with Yardi, OneStream, Blackline or similar systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day accounting contact for operator partnerships and perform monthly close tasks.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts for intercompany and partnership ledgers.
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Review operator financial submissions and analyze variances to close.
• Perform intercompany eliminations and ensure correct posting period.
• Support audits and SOX documentation; document processes and controls.
• Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, and other property transactions.
