Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• 2–4 years of professional accounting or finance experience.
• Solid GAAP knowledge, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency; NetSuite experience preferred.
• Analytical, organized, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries and perform bank, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
• Coordinate payroll accounting activities, validate payroll data, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with sales, property, business, and other state and local tax reporting and compliance.
• Prepare financial reports, management schedules, and supporting analyses to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation in accordance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, strengthen controls, and improve operational efficiency.
