Dynata is seeking a bright and analytical Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. Our ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter whose responsibilities include the timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas.

This position will be responsible for supporting the general accounting, corporate accounting and financial reporting functions of the organizations.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Pursuing CPA or other relevant certification a plus.
• Analytical ability to mine and collect data, as well as problem solving skills to gather and analyze information skillfully.
• Responds to inquiries quickly with professionalism and tact.
• Ability to organize, manage, prioritize, and handle numerous projects/tasks.
• Works well as an individual and as part of a team, willing and eager to help others and share knowledge and skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Assist with the month-end closing procedures.
• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring proper classification and accuracy.
• Partner with manager monthly to examine financial statements to ensure accurate reporting and determine ways to reduce costs and increase profitability.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to management for decision-making purposes.
• Maintain adequate internal control to safeguard company assets.
• Provide support for interim and year-end audits, including financial statement preparation.
• Assist with ad hoc projects such as automation or system implementation.
