Job summary

Mike is seeking a Staff Accountant to support month-end close, reconciliations, billing, payroll, and general accounting activities in Loveland, OH. The role collaborates with the Accounting Manager to ensure accurate records and timely close of books.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and 0–3 years of related experience, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail. In-office, full-time role with regular Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office; Excel essential.
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics SL preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities and prepare journal entries.
• Assist with payroll processes and reporting.
• Assist with treasury and cash management activities.
• Prepare detergent and utility usage reports and variance analysis.
• Assist with sales/use/commercial activity tax filings and property tax records.
• Prepare recurring customer invoices and manage accounts receivable records.
• Provide backup for accounts payable and purchasing tasks.
• Prepare recurring accounting and operational reports and assist with special projects.
