Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• CPA is desired but not required.
• 2 years of experience preferred but would consider recent college graduates with internship experience in accounting.
• Experience utilizing ERP systems is preferred.
• Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a cheerful outlook, excellent people skills, and demonstrate professionalism.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across departments and organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial records, account analyses, reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Month-End and Year-End Close Activities: Coordinate and perform assigned month-end and year-end close responsibilities, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Account Reconciliations and General Ledger Management: Prepare and maintain complex balance sheet reconciliations and supporting analyses.
• Audit and Compliance Support: Support internal and external audit activities by preparing schedules, gathering supporting documentation, responding to auditor requests, and assisting with the resolution of audit findings.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with finance, operations, procurement, sales, manufacturing, and other business functions to address accounting matters, improve processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Technical Expertise and Continuous Improvement: Serve as a subject matter expert in assigned accounting areas and remain current on accounting standards, company policies, and best practices.
• Systems and Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance reporting efficiency.
