Job summary

Pyramid, a Duravant company, in the Blue Ash area of Cincinnati, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations, maintain the general ledger, and assist with the month-end close and financial reporting.

You will work cross-functionally on cash management, project accounting, revenue recognition, and internal controls, providing accurate reconciliations and timely financial deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; D365 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the month-end close process with reporting, variance analysis, cost analysis, and cash reconciliation.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and recurring entries.
• Maintain accurate tracking and timely reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
• Support project accounting and revenue recognition activities.
• Support inventory accounting, including valuation and reconciliations.
• Assist accounts payable/receivable functions and cash application as needed.
• Monitor daily banking activity and cash management functions.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal controls.
• Assist in preparing financial deliverables and respond to audit requests.
