Job summary

Truly Good Foods in Charlotte is seeking a Staff Accountant to assist the Controller in preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Based in our Charlotte Office, the role supports month-end close and various accounting duties.

You should have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 0–3 years of relevant experience; CPA path is a plus. The position offers full-time employment with competitive benefits and opportunities to grow within the accounting/finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university, and 0–3 years related experience in public accounting or manufacturing.
• CPA license or path to CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own key month-end close processes with journal entries and accruals.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for major accounts.
• Assist in annual financial statement audit and maintain fixed asset records.
• File sales tax returns and track annual business license compliance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecast processes.
