Jobot is seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant for our Charlotte manufacturing operations. This permanent role involves managing all financial transactions, monthly closings, budgeting, and audits, with direct impact on the company’s growth.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel. You will collaborate with the finance team and leadership to shape financial strategy and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping principles, practices, laws and regulations.
• Detail-oriented with ability to supervise.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.
• Experience with payroll processing.
• Strong analytical, reporting and cost analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving and adaptability.
• Commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions and ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Prepare budget forecasts and manage balance sheets and P&L statements.
• Conduct risk analyses to assess potential investments.
• Audit financial transactions and documents for compliance with the law.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and perform backups when necessary.
• Manage all payroll aspects including processing and reporting.
• Conduct regular ledger procedures and support new accounting policies.
• Use QuickBooks and Excel to streamline accounting functions.
• Provide insight on cash flow, budgeting, investments, and policy matters.
• Collaborate with finance team and executives on financial strategy.
