Qualifications

• BS Degree with emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of Financial Account Experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize effectively.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Detailed analytical and quantitative capabilities.
• A desire to learn, teach, and be promoted to grow within the company.
• QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and/or Sage Intacct experience.
• A propensity for AI-enabled automation and tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise and informal leadership in the execution of month-end close processes, including journal entry preparation, detailed review, and analysis as needed.
• Support the coordination and quality review of monthly account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and consistency across client accounts.
• Direct and perform monthly financial variance analysis, including research, documentation and communication of account fluctuations.
• Serve as a key liaison during year-end financial statement audits and interim reviews, partnering with external auditors to provide necessary schedules and respond to inquiries.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Champion continuous improvement across month-end processes, financial controls, and analytics.
• Play an active role in managing client relationships, including participating in client meetings, responding to inquiries, and ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
