IFG US is seeking a Staff Accountant to support month-end close, lead journal entries, and reconcile accounts. The role partners with various teams to provide financial insights and ensure compliance with accounting policies.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, experience with general ledger, A/P, reconciliations, and financial reporting, and proficiency in Sage Intacct and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, accounts payable, account reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Sage Intacct and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Lead Month-End Close Activities by preparing journal entries, reconciling GL accounts, and ensuring data accuracy.
• Perform complex account reconciliations, including balance sheet and intercompany accounts, resolving discrepancies.
• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to validate financial information and improve processes.
• Support financial reporting and audit preparation by compiling schedules and maintaining documentation.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities with accurate coding and documentation.
• Monitor and analyze operating expenses, allocate costs, and report for budget management.
• Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and preparing journal entries.
