Job summary

TopMark Funding LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant for its Whittier, CA office. You will support AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close under the Director of Accounting, gaining hands-on experience across core accounting tasks and audits.

This entry‑level role offers direct mentorship, exposure to Salesforce and QuickBooks Enterprise, and a path to growth within a 70+ person company with weekly hours 7:30 AM–4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships welcome)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; QuickBooks experience a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Support monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Help maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are properly recorded
• Assist with month-end close tasks and preparation of financial statements
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits and internal reviews
• Help monitor account balances and flag variances for review
