Job summary

Sportech, LLC in Elk River, MN seeks a Staff Accountant to support the Finance team with general ledger activity and month-end close. You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and assist with fixed assets, leases, and intercompany accounting while ensuring internal controls and audit readiness.

Role requires a bachelor's in accounting or finance and 3–5 years in manufacturing environments. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Epicor preferred) is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3-5 years’ work experience in manufacturing setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Experience with Epicor (or similar ERP) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries.
• Support month-end close and reconciliations.
• Maintain balance sheet and general ledger accuracy.
• Reconcile subledger with general ledger.
• Provide audit support and documentation.
• Manage fixed asset and CIP accounting.
