Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain the general ledger, and assist with month- and year-end close activities. Working with the Controller and finance team, you will partner with operations, purchasing, production, and other departments to provide accurate financial reporting and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• One to three years of progressive accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting or ERP software.
• Must qualify as a “U.S. person” under export‑control regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and timely transactions.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations and close activities.
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Support audits, compliance, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with operations, purchasing, production, and other departments.
