CSM Corporation is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of lodging properties, preparing monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analyses in compliance with GAAP. The role collaborates with corporate and field teams, supports budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc projects, and requires Excel mastery and knowledge of accounting principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar
• 1–3 years related accounting experience
• Excel proficiency with pivot tables and vlookups
• GAAP knowledge and internal controls

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly balance sheets and P&L, and publish financial statements.
• Perform reconciliations of control accounts and prepare month-end adjusting entries.
• Assist in budgeting/forecasting and variance analysis with business partners.
