Job summary

CSM Corporation is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of lodging properties in Minneapolis. You will prepare monthly financial statements, reconcile accounts, and analyze variances while ensuring GAAP compliance and internal controls.

You will partner with corporate, field, and accounting teams, support budgeting/forecasting, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field required.
• 1–3 years of related accounting experience handling complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly balance sheets and P&L; ensure accuracy.
• Reconcile control accounts and publish general ledger entries at month end.
• Assist with year-end tax work papers and audits; support budgeting/forecasting.
