Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Boise, ID is seeking a Staff Accountant II to maintain financial records, assist with the closing processes, and support project-related accounting. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 2–5 years experience, and strong GAAP knowledge. This position offers a pay range of $30 - $38 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA or working toward certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Support project accounting, including cost tracking, invoicing, and revenue recognition.

Skills

Strong knowledge of GAAP

Proficiency in accounting software
