Construction Project Accountant

Location: Boise, ID

Salary: $90k - $110k

Employment type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain job records in our ERP system, including revenue and cost budgets.
• Regularly monitor and audit job budgets, reporting any discrepancies to the project team.
• Support the project team in preparing monthly revenue and cost projections.
• Plan payroll costs for self-performing jobs, ensuring accurate coding and allocation.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of change orders before submission to the client.
• Participate in jobsite meetings, track project issues, and assist with documentation.
• Draft and review payment applications with the Project Manager.
• Oversee daily/weekly entry and review of labor hours, ensuring correct coding and classification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience at a construction or real estate company.
• Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
• ERP system experience (Viewpoint a big plus; Sage, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
