About the position

As Staff Accountant II, you will support day-to-day accounting operations and help maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready financial records. You will manage core accounting responsibilities, support accounts receivable activities, assist with month-end and year-end close, reconcile accounts, and work with departments across the organization to resolve financial discrepancies.

  • Record, monitor, and reconcile accounts receivable activity
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and support follow-up on overdue balances
  • Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other accounting transactions as needed
  • Assist with financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
  • Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for audits and tax filings
  • Help maintain internal controls and support compliance with organizational policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

  • Proactively recommend improvements to accounting processes, workflows, systems, and controls to increase accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness
