Qualifications

Position Summary:

Responsible for complex general ledger entries preparation and posting, account reconciliations, month end close processes, and reporting. This position will assist in both external and internal audits and will act as a cross-functional point of contact as it pertains to accounting for areas including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaids, and intercompany charges.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs accounting functions and in-depth analysis for responsible areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, intercompany charges and others as assigned.
  • Performs balance sheet account reconciliations, bank account reconciliations, SOX controls, as well as completing month end close tasks timely in line with defined schedule.
  • Prepares complex journal entries and other accounting entries in line with assigned responsibility.
  • Prepares analytics on Balance Sheet and Income Statement fluxes.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, as requested.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Applied knowledge and experience with US GAAP and ERP accounting systems.
  • Capable of working independently to complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Analytical problem solving and attention to details.
  • Proficiency in english both verbal and written. Ability to communicate with various levels of management.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, MS Office, etc.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience demonstrating breadth of assignments.
  • 1 - 2 years of related accounting work experience.
  • Experience with SAP or other larger ERP systems is preferred.
