Job summary

TCP International in Aurora, OH is seeking a Staff Accountant I to manage day-to-day payables, review and process journal entries, and support month-end close activities. You will handle intercompany payables, verify invoices, and assist with cost updates and vendor communications.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of accounting experience, an accounting degree, and strong Excel skills; JD Edwards experience is a plus. This is an on-site, full-time role in a collaborative finance team.

Responsibilities

• Process and review payables and prepare journal entries
• Assist with month-end closing activities and reconciliations
• Process intercompany and other payables and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare weekly check runs and send to vendors
• Record ACH/Wires and banking entries with proper cutoffs
• Maintain vendor W-9 records and documentation
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Accounting, and Product Management on costing and accounts
• Support internal and external audits with requested data
• Ensure policies related to approvals are followed
