Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing team in a role focused on tax, audit, and related assignments under supervision. The candidate will support engagements, conduct research, and help maintain strong client relationships while growing professional expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance.
• Up to 1 year of public accounting or 1–3 years in internal accounting.
• Ability to sit for the CPA exam or passed CPA sections is a plus.
• Basic understanding of accounting and tax rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through.
• Ability to work under close supervision and accept feedback.
• Collaborative, team-oriented with colleagues and clients.
• Strong MS Office skills and report writing.
• Professional demeanor with coworkers and clients.
• Available to travel domestically if required.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients.
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas during engagements.
• Conduct business-specific research and compile reports with recommendations.
• Develop effective client relationships through professionalism.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
