Image Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting, focusing on vendor payments, month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliations in a hybrid Long Beach role. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, GAAP-aware, and ready to improve processes within a growing distribution environment.

This position reports to the Accounting Manager and collaborates with Ops, Supply Chain, and AP teams. Location is Long Beach, CA with three days in-office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and accrual accounting, including prepaids, accruals, and fixed assets.
• Experience processing vendor payments, including international wires and prepayments; AP reconciliation experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Vendor Prepayments & International Payments: Process and record overseas and domestic vendor prepayments and international wires, reconciling PO to invoices before payment.
• Accounts Payable Accuracy & Vendor Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements to AP aging and clear past-due items.
• Month-End Close & General Ledger: Prepare journal entries, accruals, and prepaid amortization; complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Fixed Assets, Credit Cards & Sales Tax: Track capital expenditures; reconcile credit card activity; prepare sales/use tax filings.
• Inventory & Operations Support: Review inventory adjustments and cycle counts with Operations.
• Variance Analysis, Controls & Process Improvement: Analyze expenses vs budget; support budgeting and process improvements.
