Job summary

Miraval Berkshires is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the financial integrity of the resort by executing core accounting processes with accuracy and timeliness. Reporting to the Senior Staff Accountant and Director of Financial Operations, you will ensure transactions are processed in line with Hyatt standards.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close support, payroll entries, internal controls, and collaboration with Hyatt Shared Services to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Process payroll-related entries and validate labor data.
• Ensure internal controls and adherence to procedures.
• Collaborate with Hyatt Shared Services for accurate processing.
