Miraval Berkshires, a Hyatt property, is seeking a Staff Accountant to uphold financial integrity and support the month-end close with accuracy. You will perform daily accounting tasks, payroll entries, and balance sheet reconciliations, under guidance from senior staff, ensuring compliance with Hyatt standards.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork with Shared Services, and the ability to maintain reliable financial data in a hospitality environment with flexible scheduling

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, hospitality preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.

Responsabilidades

• Execute daily accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and transaction processing.
• Prepare assigned balance sheet reconciliations with supporting documentation.
• Support month-end close by completing assigned tasks accurately and on time.
• Process payroll-related entries and assist with labor data validation.
• Follow established accounting procedures and internal control requirements.
• Identify discrepancies and escalates issues to the Senior Staff Accountant or Controller.
• Collaborate with Hyatt Shared Services to ensure accurate transaction processing.
