Herc Rentals in Bonita Springs, FL is seeking a Staff Accountant to support financial analysis, journal entries, and reconciliations. The role involves gathering data from multiple sources and preparing reports for distribution within and outside of accounting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, up to three years of experience, and CPA is preferred. Public accounting experience is advantageous, with benefits and a focus on accuracy and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA preferred.
• Up to three years of accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepares general ledger entries.
• Maintains records and files.
• Prepares reconciliations of accounts; researches and interprets data for reconciling items.
• Develops understanding of each account assigned to identify issues or unusual activity.
• Gathers information from the general ledger, financial systems and other department reports to prepare reports to be distributed within and outside of accounting.
• Analyzes information by developing spreadsheet reports, verifying information.
• Adheres to internal controls within applicable accounting processes.
• Project work as assigned.
