CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in a fast-paced environment. You will help maintain our accounting systems, analyze customer contracts, and prepare invoices, credits, revenue arrangements, and journal entries.

Collaborating with engineers, you will maintain accounting documentation related to revenue recognition and support internal controls and SOX compliance. The role offers growth within a dynamic, high-performing firm.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of general accounting experience, including month-end close.
• Data-driven mindset with analytics focus.
• Customer service oriented with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare revenue month-end close reports from project billing and costs.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare monthly project, collections, billings, and WIP reports.
