Job summary

Curative in Austin, TX is seeking an entry-level Staff Accountant to support a high-growth health insurance environment. You will perform generalized accounting tasks, assist in month-end close, and help with reconciliations and vendor relations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and attention to detail; NetSuite experience is a plus. The ideal candidate is energetic, data-driven, and capable of working cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven ability to analyze data, reconcile accounts, and support monthly/year-end close.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable and related journal entries with accuracy.
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and balances against system reports.
• Record month- and year-end accruals and perform other AP-related tasks.
• Manage vendor relations, inquiries, and invoicing in a timely manner.
• Prepare analyses of accounts and monthly financial statements.
