Curative in Austin, TX is seeking an energetic Staff Accountant to gain accelerated learning in a fast-paced, high-growth health insurance environment. The role covers generalized accounting tasks, including reconciliations and month-end close, and assists in preparing financial statements.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. NetSuite experience is a plus; Excel proficiency is required.

• Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross functionally across teams.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills - pivot tables, v-lookups and MATCH.

Responsibilities

• Reconciles accounts and prepares monthly reports.
• Handles accounts payable for multiple entities and vendors.
• Records month/year-end accruals and related journal entries.
• Assists in vendor relations, invoice processing and inquiries.
• Supports improvements to financial processes and procedures.
