Job summary

Vigor Marine Group is seeking a Staff Accountant in Portland, OR to perform a broad set of corporate-level accounting tasks. Responsibilities include journal entries, GL reconciliations, and supporting month-end close.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Business and 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity setting. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a discretionary bonus program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business is required or preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity corporate environment.
• Public accounting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and input journal entries to general ledgers.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations as assigned.
• Supports the month-end close process and meets tight schedule requirements.
• Supports annual audit with external auditors and government/authorities as needed.
• Assist in creation of timely and accurate supporting schedules and analysis.
• Review general ledger activity to ensure accurate coding.
