Job summary

SAFE Boats International, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant in Bremerton, WA to join our finance team. This role focuses on accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activity, and month-end close with an emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate holds an accounting degree with 5+ years in AP/AR, GAAP knowledge, and ERP software experience. This in-person position offers a benefits package and a four-ten hour work week schedule.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor's degree in accounting or 5+ years in AP/AR is required.
• Knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience using ERP accounting software and MS Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, match to packing slips, and handle payments.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and GL reconciliations.
• Support month-end close, accruals, and journal entries.
• Reconcile vendor files, W-9s, 1099s, and vendor documentation.
• Assist with audits and provide cross-functional finance support.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed.
