Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint, a private equity‑backed home services company, is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join the growing finance team in New Jersey. You will assist in day‑to‑day accounting, close processes, and the implementation of standardized procedures across multiple entities.

The role emphasizes hands‑on AP/AR execution with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls, while enabling scalable growth through process improvements and SOP development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and hands-on AP/AR experience.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger across multiple entities.
• Process AP/AR, invoicing, billing, collections, and vendor payments.
• Monitor AR aging and improve collections to reduce DSO.
• Document SOPs and assist with audits.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
