Job summary

Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint is seeking a Joint Venture Accountant to oversee accounting, ownership accounting, partner communications, and tax reporting for its joint venture entities in Florida.

You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages, maintain capital accounts, calculate non-controlling interests, and coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance and accurate partner reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience in JV/partnerships.
• Knowledge of GAAP, financial statement analysis, ownership and distributions.
• Familiarity with partnership tax returns and Schedule K-1 reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines.
• Advanced Excel; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting administration, financial reporting, and compliance for joint venture entities.
• Serve as liaison to JV partners; communicate financial results and distributions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages per agreements.
• Maintain ownership structures, capital accounts, and equity schedules.
• Calculate non-controlling interests and capital distributions per agreements.
• Manage JV accounts receivable including funding and settlements.
• Coordinate tax reporting with external consultants; distribute K-1s.
• Document and improve JV accounting processes and controls.
• Support management with financial analysis and ad hoc reporting.
