Job summary

Origence is seeking a Staff Accountant to perform general accounting, support month-end close, and prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP. You will reconcile balance sheet accounts, handle bank reconciliations, and assist with AR tasks.

Utilize Excel, D365, and Power BI for reporting and analyses across Origence and subsidiaries. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with strong understanding of GAAP.
• 2 years general accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Ability to read and understand financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts for prepaid expenses and other items.
• Record expense allocations and validations for consultants/contractors.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations; support AR functions.
• Back up duties in AP and finance/operating leases.
• Support reporting in Excel, D365, and Power BI for Origence and subsidiaries.
