Insight Global in Pasadena, CA is seeking an Accounting Associate to support monthly financial statements, management reporting and analysis. You will assist with GL reconciliations, book monthly journal entries, and maintain fixed assets and inventory modules, while helping with banking and daily cash posting.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of accounting experience and a 4-year business/accounting degree, with strong GAAP knowledge and experience preparing monthly statements.

Qualifications

• 2 years of accounting experience in an accounting department.
• Bachelor's degree in business or accounting or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement prep.
• Experience with monthly statements and account reconciliations.
• Public (Big 4)/audit experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist with preparing monthly financial statements, management reporting and analysis.
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and book monthly journal entries.
• Assist with fixed asset and inventory modules.
• Support banking functions and daily cash posting.
• Assist in preparing monthly sales incentive statements and managing bonus accounts.
• Analyze actual results, variances and forecasting to support decision making.
