Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our U.S. finance team.

You will support the month-end close, maintain general ledger accuracy, and prepare journals and financial statements. The role requires 2–3 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS. As part of the team, you will interact with internal and external auditors, assist with budgets and forecasts, and help ensure timely, accurate reporting for

• Experience with US GAAP and IFRS principles.
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, IFRS, and company policies.
