Job summary

Rush Enterprises, Inc. Accountant performs routine accounting tasks for centralized corporate operations, ensuring GAAP adherence and SEC compliance. The role supports monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, journal entries, reconciliations, and data analysis to guide business decisions.

We require a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, with at least two years of GL experience, SAP experience preferred, and advanced Excel skills to excel in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years general ledger accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• SAP experience preferred and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial cycle closings.
• Perform financial statement review and account analyses.
• Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile accounts.
• Provide audit support and assist with financial analysis for decision making.
• Ensure records comply with company policies and GAAP.
