Zusammenfassung

Rush Enterprises, Inc. Accountant performs routine accounting tasks for centralized corporate operations, ensuring GAAP adherence and SEC compliance. The role supports monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, journal entries, reconciliations, and data analysis to guide business decisions.

We require a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, with at least two years of GL experience, SAP experience preferred, and advanced Excel skills to excel in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Accountant performs routine accounting tasks associated with centralized corporate operations. Responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records for the organization in accordance with GAAP principles and SEC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial cycle closings
• Perform financial statement review
• Perform account analysis and reconciliations
• Research and correct account discrepancies
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Provide audit support
• Assist various teams with financial analysis and accounting tasks
• Ensure financial records comply with company policies and accounting principles
• Analyze data to support business decision-making

Education And/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years general ledger accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• SAP experience preferred
• Advanced skillset with Microsoft Excel
