Job summary

Pyramid, a Duravant company, is seeking a Staff Accountant in Cincinnati, OH to support daily accounting, close processes, and internal control improvements. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will help maintain the general ledger, perform reconciliations, and assist with audits and financial reporting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, analytical thinking, and multi-priority management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; D365 exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the month-end close with reporting, variance and cash reconciliation.
• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals and prepaids with documentation.
• Maintain balance sheet account reconciliations and accuracy.
• Support project accounting and revenue recognition activities.
• Assist with inventory accounting and cost analysis.
• Support AP/AR functions and banking/cash management.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.
