Job summary

LHH is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a collaborative finance team supporting multiple entities within a complex business environment. The role blends accounting, FP&A, financial modeling and reporting, with large data sets and cross-functional partnership.

Responsibilities include monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, building insightful reports, developing models to assess profitability, supporting audits and tax requests, and driving process improvements with technology-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience with financial reporting/analysis.
• Public accounting experience preferred; CPA or CPA-track encouraged.
• GAAP knowledge and month-end close experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and quarterly close processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across entities.
• Develop finance reports and analyses to evaluate performance and trends.
• Build financial models to assess profitability and growth opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders to support planning and decision-making.
• Assist with audits, tax requests, and financial compliance.
• Consolidate data from multiple systems to improve reporting accuracy.
• Support cash management and general ledger activities.
• Identify process improvements and tech-driven reporting enhancements.
