Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Staff Accountant to work closely with the Accounting Manager on Fixed Assets and general ledger responsibilities. The ideal candidate has private accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

The role involves assisting with month-end close, reconciliations, audit schedules, and ad hoc reporting within a fast-paced environment. Strong GAAP knowledge and proficient MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; 3–5 years of related experience.
• Experience with an ERP accounting system is a strong plus, Oracle preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with month-end close procedures.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role;however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
