Job summary

FinWise Bank is seeking a Staff Accountant to ensure accurate financial records across multiple systems and support new Banking as a Service (BaaS) programs including BIN Sponsorship and Payment Processing. You will reconcile accounts, assist in monthly financials, and work with internal teams and external partners to improve processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least three years of accounting experience, with strong Excel and knowledge of Sage Intacct

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Three+ years of accounting experience required.
• Familiar with Sage Intacct and FloQast; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Journal creation for bank account transactions.
• Ensure activities posted to cash and clearing GL accounts are reviewed and reconciled.
• Perform bank reconciliations - reconcile bank statements against GL and clearing accounts.
• Assist in monthly financials preparation.
• Reconciled balance sheet accounts.
• Perform BaaS functions including participating in implementation calls and buildout.
• Respond to audit inquiries from examiners and auditors.
