Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the organization's financial activities, including planning, procurement, and investments. The role requires handling financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, and reconciliations, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.

The candidate will collaborate with various units to apply accounting standards, monitor cash flow, and prepare management reports. Proficiency in MIP Fund Accounting and Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge required.
• Significant experience with accounting software (notably MIP Fund Accounting).
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting duties.
• Assist in financial planning, budgeting, procurement, or investment activities.
• Prepare reconciliations for monthly and annual closings; make adjusting journal entries as needed.
