Velox Clearing LLC is hiring an early-career Staff Accountant to join the finance team. This full-time role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting functions within a broker-dealer environment and daily operational support.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, is proficient in Excel and accounting systems, and has strong analytical and communication skills. This position provides hands-on experience across reconciliation, reporting, and audit support.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/financial systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; highly organized; good written and verbal communication; self-motivated and reliable.
• Experience or internship in accounting/finance; familiarity with financial services, banking, securities, or broker-dealer; interest in FINRA Series 99.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, investigating variances and resolving outstanding items.
• Process and reconcile client deposits and withdrawals in coordination with operations and finance teams.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting including A/P and A/R.
• Monitor and reconcile daily cash activity and cash flows in collaboration with other departments.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing required information and schedules.
