Job summary

Connect Search, LLC is seeking an accounting professional to support the Sr. Director of Finance in daily operations in Peoria, IL. You will assist with month-end close, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and financial reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting and at least 2 years of accounting/finance experience, with proficiency in QuickBooks, Paylocity and Excel. The position is on-site and part of a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.
• Minimum 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping or finance experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts and general ledger accounts monthly.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare resident billing and respond to invoice questions.
• Assist with annual audits and provide requested schedules and docs.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Assist with payroll processing for all employees, including salary calculations and deductions.
• Support regulatory reporting and compliance submissions to agencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
