You will prepare financial statement analyses, GL reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations, while ensuring GAAP compliance, strong data accuracy, and internal controls. Collaboration across finance and leadership is key, with opportunities to improve processes.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting internship or role, preferably in finance, consulting, or technology.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Tax, Audit, or Finance.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (lookup, pivot tables, formulas); Visual Basic/SQL a plus.
• Exceptional customer service skills; cooperative; strong team player.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate output on time.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple work streams.
• Self-motivation; ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Knowledge of GAAP; public accounting experience preferred.
• Champion for data accuracy and quality for the Accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day accounting functions.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Perform month‑end close tasks and prepare financial statement analyses.
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Review and analyze general ledger transactions and accounts.
• Prepare supporting documentation for financial statement audits and tax provisions/returns.
• Assist manager with tax workpapers preparation.
• Ensure systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses to support leadership requests.
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes.
