Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the Finance team in our regional office in Atlanta, GA. This full-time, in-person position offers growth within a national contractor environment.

The role involves preparing financial reporting, supporting project billing, reconciling costs, maintaining asset records, and partnering with project teams to ensure accurate numbers and timely information for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; construction industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail and reliable follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project billing and assist with timely and accurate invoicing.
• Perform job cost reconciliation and support analysis of project financials.
• Maintain asset accounting records and assist with related reconciliations.
