Job summary

Donley’s Cleveland office is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting functions throughout the monthly process and assist with year-end closing and audit. We are a fourth-generation, nationally recognized leader in concrete construction and restoration services with ESOP employee ownership.

This role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities to support billing, cost accounting, and financial reporting while contributing to the firm’s continued growth.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting or finance with 3-5 years of administrative experience.
• At least 2 years’ experience working with accounts receivable and/or contract administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels.
• Able to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.
• Able to perform duties independently.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization.
• Provide outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
• Run T&M backup for necessary billings.
• Assist with billing process.
• Assist with year-end job closeout.
• Assist with vendor setup, manage W9’s.
